Specialized Care

Evergreen’s staff are experienced and qualified in provision of specialized care for persons with unique circumstances. Our staff are knowledgeable and understand specific illnesses and/or disease processes and they may impact a client’s in-home care services. Our registered nurse provides oversight, ongoing education and supervision for those clients requiring specialized care services. In some situations, this might include registered nurse delegated tasks.

Specialized care services may include:

• Diabetic care (CBGs & insulin)
• ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) & MS (Multiple Sclerois) care
• Wound care
• Ostomy care
• Cancer care
• Nebulizer treatments/oxygen
• Feeding tubes
• Catheter care
• Alzheimer’s and dementia care
• End-of-life care for persons on hospice services
